Client Profile

This interior design project centers on a distinguished family from Johannesburg, South Africa, now residing in New York. The household comprises a Dutch-descended husband, a rising executive with Deutsche Bank promoted to manage the bank's New York office, and his wife, a native African holding a pivotal role at the Permanent Mission of South Africa to the United Nations, overseeing Sustainable Development and Climate Change. They have a 14-year-old son, poised to start at a private high school with an active participation in special needs sports programs.

The couple possesses a deep appreciation for contemporary art and music, actively collecting pieces that reflect their journey through various homes. Their new space in New York is envisioned to blend these artistic treasures within a contemporary aesthetic. A strong commitment to sustainability guides their choices, with the entire home featuring sustainable finish materials, energy-efficient lighting, fixtures, and appliances. This project harmonizes their love for art with their dedication to environmental responsibility, creating a sophisticated and eco-friendly living space.
